FAQ

How accurate is the score?

It's an estimate, and we say so everywhere. The height projection uses the same mid-parental method pediatricians use, and the jump and speed percentiles come from published population data. What it cannot see: your work ethic, your coaching, your injury history. Treat it as a mirror held up to real curves, not a verdict.

Which sports does it work for?

Basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, track, hockey, baseball, tennis, and Hyrox/hybrid. You can pick up to two, and the score blends how much stature matters in each, because a 6'6" frame changes basketball more than it changes soccer, and barely touches Hyrox.

I'm a hybrid athlete. Does the score capture my engine?

Partly. The web scan reads your power side (bounce, speed) and nearly ignores frame for Hyrox/hybrid, which is honest to the sport. What it can't read yet is endurance, and for hybrid athletes that's half the story. The measured engine test is part of the app.

What age is this for?

It's built for athletes roughly 12 to 25. Younger than that and growth curves are too noisy to say anything useful. The headroom model gives younger athletes more upside, because that's what the training literature shows.

I don't know my vertical. Can I still get a score?

Yes. Skip the jump question and the scan leans on your sprint self-rating instead. You lose some precision, and you also lose the trainable-vertical range in the full read, so measure against a wall when you can.

What do the bands, archetypes, and badges mean?

Bands describe what your ceiling is comparable to on population curves: Foundation (under 40), Varsity Track (40–59), College Track (60–74), High-Major Track (75–87), Elite Outlier (88+). Comparable to, never a promise. Archetypes read as strongest-signal + headroom: 'Pace Sleeper' means speed is your best trait and you have 18+ points of untrained room ('Riser' is 8–17, 'Vet' is under 8). Badges are earned only from your actual inputs: LONG ARMS (wingspan beats height), SPRING (top-20% bounce), JET (front-of-pack speed), TOWER (top-15% frame), SLEEPER (big headroom), YOUNG STOCK (15 or under), BUILT (3+ years training). Hover or tap any of them on your result for the definition.

What do you do with my data?

The quiz answers are used to compute your score in your browser and are not stored. If you unlock the full read, we store your email plus the score summary so we can send you what you asked for. Our analytics count events without cookies and without any ID that can be traced back to you. See the privacy policy for the whole picture.

What's the app?

A daily training plan built to close the gap between your current score and your ceiling, with re-tests so you can watch the score move. It's in development now; the waitlist gets it first.
